Joel is determined to get Ellie to see his point of view. In his eyes, he did the right thing. And while he also knows that Jackson promises a sanctuary and a moment of respite, he can't help but feel that their time together is limited. More than anything, he wants to be there for her, even if that means the countless hours it'll take teaching her how to swim.

Or that's what I used to think until I met two people who changed my life. I believed very strongly on being by myself and keeping away from organisations like FEDRA and the Fireflies but when the leader of the fireflies task me with keeping a girl safe, despite my best instincts... I accept. And when I start to spend more and more time with a certain man my whole world flips upside down once again. But is this for the better? I guess you'll find out. 😉
