Link is injured fighting a Lynel on Ploymus Mountain, and he retreats to Rito Village for care. The hero may struggle with his words, but he still has friends he can always turn to when he needs help.

This is the tale of Link, the Hero of Hyrule, with.. a twist? I write this story from Link's awakening in Breath of the Wild from his perspective, in the form of a diary written by the hero himself. I hope to let this tale play out in full without too much nonsuch and filler fluff, but I will be playing the game as I always have and I always get distracted. Also as I myself have the attention span of a spoon, I may never finish this. But we can hope ^^; It is unlikely I will set myself a schedule for this right now, but perhaps if I have a lot written in the future I may release "chapters" regularly. I plan for each chapter to be a week of Link's diary entries, but depending on the length of some days it may be more or less per chapter. Or perhaps there will just be longer chapters sometimes.

The war has been won. Princess Zelda, soon to become Queen Zelda of Hyrule, has been freed from the confines of Hyrule Castle that she had been trapped in by Ganon. Although Calamity Ganon is gone, danger still lurks round every corner. Yiga Clan activity has increased, as riots among the rogue group occur. The vengeful beasts that had once been slain by Link, are back, with a bitter message. Now, it is up to Link and Zelda to travel the lands once again, and restore the ruined Kingdom back to its former glory.

Princess Zelda and Champion Link must work together to defeat the upcoming calamity. Though tensions run high and the princess despises her knight, the two form an unexpected bond. They know they must work as a team with the other Champions, but without Zelda's sealing powers, the group is unsure of how they will win the battle against the ancient beast known as Calamity Ganon. Will Zelda's wisdom and Link's courage be enough... or will Ganon's power destroy all of Hyrule?

A shooting star falls the night of a Blood Moon. Link has lost his way, and with the Calamity growing ever stronger, Sheik must forge a new path through Hyrule and lead the untamed Hero to victory.

(Y/N), a Zonai and the descendant of the leader of the Zon'Hirith Town, has been chosen as the 5th Champion. This means they'll also be in charge of the divine beast "Vah-Windre". The Hylians are rebuilding, the Gerudo have forced the Yiga Clan to retreat, and the Sheikah, Gorons, Rito, and Zora have been clearing out the monsters that threaten the Hyruleans. But it's not over. The ancient Sheikah tech has been disappearing. Malice is pouring out of the castle, and it's becoming even more deadly. Monsters seem to be getting smarter and stronger, and the Blood Moon has returned. Forces of evil could attack any second now. But Link is also stronger...
