The USS Cerritos acquires a new crew member. A bright young man named Lewis Kellard, who becomes close to the members on the lower decks. Queen Paolana of Hysperia, Mother of Chief Engineer Andy Billups, schemes to kidnap her son and force him to become King, while plotting a great conspiracy to undermine the Federation. Lewis Kellard and his newfound friends must steal his grandfather's ship, the USS Independence, and rescue Billups before it's too late. Author's Notes: This is a major redesign of my original novel, and I hope this version proves better than its predecessor. Furthermore, I apologize to my viewers who were fans of the original version, and I pray that I will do better this time.
