An alternate universe Mortal Instruments fanfiction which follows the adventures of Clary and Co. in the idyllic life as described in Clary's dream in City of Heavenly Fire (e.g. good Jonathan, heroic Valentine, etc.). Remember while reading these that if the writing seems a little off or the characters have slightly different personalities, that for one, I am not Cassandra Clare, two, they haven't been through the same experiences as they did in TMI, and three, I am not your bitch. What if Jace had a younger sister? Elizabeth Wayland has been passed from institute to institute like an unwanted present since her father was killed. Now aged fifteen she is fed up of the whole routine. Accompanied unwillingly by her partner in crime Joe Linscott, she has arrived at the New York institute desperate for answers from her only living family -her older half brother Jace- but is in store for a lot more than she bargained for. Griever fighting. The toughest lesson of the week, and we have a freaking double period of it. It's almost worse than shadow hunting, almost.
