Cryptid1966
For the age of 23, Connor Young was a verifiable prodigy. Having dropped out of highschool at 17, and joining the USMC, he had a career filled to the brim with once in a career missions, netting him an impressive set of accolades, and a few untimely scars, before ultimately bringing him to be the youngest Gunnery Sergeant in the history of the Marines. After sustaining catastrophic injuries, he was put in charge of training the Umas who volunteered for the infantry life with old Uncle Sam.
Though the position is secure, he was given a unique opportunity by his command. A publicity deal that could set him up for a cushy career away from any front lines that may arise in the future. He is transferred full time to Japan to work as a foreign trainer at the prestigious Tracen Academy, alongside a group of college graduates who had spent years studying the Umamusume.
Though the transfer seems easy, fortune and fate often find themselves at odds with one another, and Connor will soon get a little more than he had bargained for at Tracen. Between the traumas of his past, and the ire of trainers who believe he doesn't deserve his position, he may be in for a situation no amount of training can prepare one for.
