Expect the unexpected: This time, the Box held a girl captive. Elizabeth gets thrown into the Glade. This strange occurrence causes an uproar, especially from a certain blond, British boy because of what the girl stirs in him -- an unfamiliar feeling that he never knew would arise within the Glade. All ties of normalcy is broken however, because her arrival and actions were planned. She was completely fooling them into believing that she too had lost her memories. She was completely fooling them into believing that she was a part of their community. Most importantly, she was completely fooling him into believing that she is in love with him. Elizabeth wakes up to the same rude awakening that every other glader has experienced as she tries to navigate through a world of false reality. While her memory has been completely swiped, her resilience and determination to save her fellow gladers is persistent nonetheless. With the help of a certain brave hazel eyed boy, strong and sarcastic dark haired boy, and one quite confusing dirty blonde Brit, she is able to lead her friends to a better world, an alternate ending.

A girl named Elizabeth arrives in a metal box not knowing who she is or remembering anything of her past all except her name. She arrives in the Glade filled with 30-40 teenage boys who don't give her the answers straight away and as the first girl to arrive in the Glade Elizabeth is in for a bumpy ride. One boy named Gally takes a particular interest in Elizabeth, who knows where her story will go next! Lots of fun- me.

It felt like hours, days even that she had been stuck in the lonely black cage, ceaselessly moving upwards with constant clanking noises. It had been so long that she'd even had time to calm herself from her initial panic and was even becoming bored. She sat cross-legged on the cold metal floor and absentmindedly stared at her hands folded in her lap. Her mind raced, searching and searching for any memory that could explain where she was or how she'd gotten there. There was nothing, though. She had no answers. All she had was a name. The fear of the unknown is what drives one to follow what they are told. At least that is how WICKED wants it, they have their whole lives structured and scheduled down to each breath. "You have a greater purpose," they would brainwash them. Yet for a place where Rosie, and her best friend since childhood Newt, is forced into the systematic ways, unexpected and uncontrollable events seem to follow her. Growing up among scientists made her realize everything is a test, everything is controlled, everything is a variable both in WICKED headquarters and the maze. That was until the unforeseen variable, the unexpected problem; Ella. This unprepared for problem is what would separate Rosie from the glade, from Newt. Could her daughter be the key, the unknown variable that becomes a cure? Would Rosie let her become a science experiment, limit her life to lab, or is the cost of freedom worth it? She would find the best life for her daughter...well, that is after she finds Newt. The kind British teenager, and the sassy Asian boy, are meant to be. They feel things for each other that WICKED doesn't have any idea about. As their relationship accelerates, these two best friends become lovers. Follow your favorite gladers past the path of friendship, and to a new path. A path of loyalty, affection, dependence, sorrow, doubt, reassurance, and hope; to the path of love.
