There's a new girl in the glade and all the boys are falling for her but she only has her eyes on one of them.

She awoke to the sound of groaning chains, straining and cracking under pressure. At first, her eyes were heavy, awkward. It was as if she was awakening from her death, as if the girl was awakening in spite of the fact that she was sleeping. Her muscles ached and her stomach churned with the cranking of the metal that seemed to encapsulate her. Upon finally peeling her eyes open, she was unsure if she had indeed succeeded. Darkness surrounded her, leaving her completely defenseless. She attempted to pull herself upright, her head spinning and her eyes closing in hopes to calm her queasy stomach. Although she seemed awake, the thick fog of sleep still clung to her unconscious brain, making her reactions slow and her thoughts jumbled. A crash ricocheted through the small space where she was, the chains screaming to a halt, and a red light is switched on. The sound of buzzing neon is deafening as she sits up, desperate for a look around. She squints her eyes in an attempt to focus them, to take in the complete scene unfolding in the eery glow. Erin woke up in the maze, much to her dismay. Her chest and legs burned as she ran through painfully long corridors surrounded by looking walls, covered with think ivy. Then she found him. He was also running. He was someone special, there was something about him, something different- aside from the fact that they were in a maze and had no idea who he was and what he knew- she wasn't afraid when she saw him. Which given the situation, had to count for something- right? "Who the shuck are you?" "Shu- shuck?" She puzzled, almost letting out a laugh had it not been for the confusing event, "you mean fuck?" --- This is based off the maze runner book, not the movie- so some scenes are described differently to what was shown and there are some extra bits and bobs.
