Luckily for them, local military forces was able to respond rapidly, sending these alien invaders back to wherever they came from. Unfortunately, these invaders took some unfortunate souls with them. Thus, the Reborn Republic, with its Newly Reformed Military sends its forces through! How will they fare? Will the Military, battered by sanctions and wars be able to endure another large-scale deployment? Will they accomplish whatever goal they set out? Or will they be forced to retreat under domestic pressures? ======AUTHOR'S NOTE====== The story, all names and characters portrayed in this story are fictitious. No identification with actual persons (living or deceased), places, buildings, and products is intended or should be inferred. Writer does not seek to push any political agendas through its story. However, expect a lot of innacuracies since sources about the military in this period is rather rare (in fact I haven't watched GATE for quite a while now). If its not clear by now, the general premise is GATE but its the Indonesian Military, and its 2003, or at least the early 2000s. Also dont get too attached with any character since I'm planning on writing different POVs.
