Lalliaflow
The Perfect Crack
The Summary
In the prestigious halls of their high school, nice is the ultimate masterpiece. As the top student and the boy who never says "no," he carries the weight of everyone's expectations like a suit of armor. To the teachers, he's a genius; to his peers, he's an unreachable hero. But armor is heavy, and underneath the polished exterior, nice is suffocating under the pressure to remain flawless. One slip-up, one "B" grade, or one moment of exhaustion feels like it would end his world.
Lin ling isn't interested in masterpieces. He's the boy who sits in the back of the class, observing the world with a laid-back grin and a sharp eye for the truth. While the rest of the school applauds nice's achievements, lin ling is the only one who notices the way nice's breath hitches when the silence gets too loud, or how his pen shakes during a three-hour study session.
When a minor mistake finally causes nice's composure to fracture, he expects judgment. Instead, he finds lin ling.
Lin ling doesn't try to fix the crack-he steps right through it. In a world that demands nice be a lawyer by his adoptive father even though he want to be designer, lin ling is the only person who demands he be human. Through stolen moments on the rooftop, late-night convenience store runs, and the quiet rebellion of doing absolutely nothing, nice begins to realize that being "broken" might be the only way to finally let the light in.
