Himari Echizen is the daughter of two pro Volleyball coaches. They have trained her since a young age to play in every position, because of this, she developed a very self-centered attitude towards playing and teammates all together. Not even her father could make her understand that her way of playing was only going to leave her lonely in the end. It wouldn't be until her first loss that Himari finally starts to understand. She started playing more like a team player, but that still wasn't enough. During one of the most critical matches in her junior high, Himari gets a severe rotator cuff injury, forcing her to end her junior high career. Now in high school, Himari tries to overcome her injuries from the past and the up coming battles in the future. Once again, she steps foot onto the court, ready to take on any challenge that comes her way, which brings back old habits. Stuck in her own stubbornness, and her her old friends not able to get through to her, a new face may be just what she needs.
