The time the eye showed up on the news, the murder had already happened. Tons were killed. Everyone is crazy about finding the murderer and they all had curiosity about the red-colored, spiral looking eye. Sasuke, Deidara, and Itachi are on the run to hide Sasuke's Sharingan eyes while trying to hide undercover to keep their secret.
