Rodos, niekas negali išskirti tokios tvirtos bei darnios draugystės, kol vieną dieną Elija sužino-jai diagnozuota leukemija. Šansų išgyventi mažai, o merginų ateities planai-sugriūna it kortų kaladė. Netrukus, Elija tampa visų apkalbų bei žvilgsnių dėmesio centru. Kaskart eidama mokyklos kolidoriumi, ji jaučiasi lyg pelė įsprausta į kampą,visi ją žino, ir visi ją stebi. Atrodė, kad tai truks amžinai , kol Reina nusprendžia, gana. Jos draugė nebekęs apkalbų ir įkyrių žvilgsnių viena. Mergina sukurpia planą, kaip apkalbas apie draugės vėžį, pakeisti kita priežastimi. Pirmadienį-jos dėvės mėlynos spalvos peruką, trečiadienį-žalios, o penktadienį-violetinės. Kol dar yra laiko, merginos užsigeidžia įvykdyti pačius slapčiausius troškimus, kaip išsimaudyti nuogoms jūroje ar pagaliau išdrįsti mokyklos snobei Reičelei pasakyti, kad ji yra kalė. Gyvenimas yra tikras pokštininkas,draugėms paspęs dar ne vieną išdaigą ir apvers jų gyvenimą aukštyn kojomis, tačiau ar jųdviejų ryšys yra toks stiprus, jog ištvertų visas nelaimes ir pykčius? O svarbiausia leukemiją?
