When you and Shoto where very young you guys would always hang out together bc your dads worked at the same agencies. You where each others best friends bc you Both had the same training and rules that he did in the anime. Yet you still got time to sneak out. When you where 12 they split you apart and you went back to Canada until getting excepted at UA at the middle of the school year. You find that he is there too and you are reunited once again.
