In this AU soulmates are connected by pain and a pulling sensation. When you meet your soulmate you will be able to talk to each other though the mind. The side effect is that when you meet them you have to be in a 100 ft. radius of the other. If one exits the 100ft. range they will feel a strong pull that suffocates both of them. This only happens when both soulmates realize who their soulmate is. The first time soulmates touch is when they gain the capability to talk to each other through their thoughts.
