That little girl's name was Anastase. Like her little brother, Izuku, she dreamed of becoming a hero and that dream was coming true. She was in her first year at UA highschool when it happened. Anastase Midoriya was killed by a villian when she was 15 years old. Nine years later, Izuku goes into his first year at UA, and he's determined to be a hero for the both of them. Eri and Shoto both had adversity in their childhood. When Eri bumped into Todoroki, she explained to him about her time with Overhaul. Eri's story really touched Todoroki reminding him of his past. After that, they started becoming like siblings even if they are being chased by a scary animatronic villain. Todoroki felt like he was hanging out with a little sister for the first time and Eri felt that Todoroki was like the big brother she never had.
