Kido exclaimed, losing at least four or five wisteria petals at the entire thought of this. - - - Big-time note here: in case Admiral Yamamoto and Marquess Kido discussing the delicate nuances of toilet paper in the presence of a wildly embarassed Hirohito didn't give it away; just because an author out there utilizes characters based on historical figures doesn't necessarily mean they agree with those figures' values and ideals (or that the piece is historically accurate, which is kind of a relief when it comes down to Twister-hating war criminals.) Keeping with that groove, they're mutants, and specifically, flower-people: they've got fangs, claws, and live flowers that are actually part of their body.
