A young Toivoan Dragon that refuses her destiny is uncommon. One that survives to talk about it is even rarer, but Tharia is adamant Ascension is not worth killing her kindred. Especially when they might be her own sisters she swore not to hurt. Safe in a remote village, hiding under the guise of a druid Tharia leads an idyllic life. But this cannot last and her world comes crashing down when another Toivoan arrives at her doorstep, soon followed by a group of blood thirsty mercenaries out to get both women. Will her resolve change now that her own life is at stake? How long can Tharia resist her power hungry dragon nature.

After the war that completely devastated Tradyr, upholding the old laws and traditions is the only way for Tradyrians to fight back against the dwarven occupiers and their false king. When Sven, whose origins make him an outsider despite having been born and raised in Tradyr, falls in love with the daughter of one of the Old Blood families everyone suspects that he sees marriage just as a way to raise his status. But for him the love for the country and Alita, the woman of his dreams, become one and the same; so much so that he constantly worries about her modern views and disregard for tradition. But when she disappears and social acceptance is finally within his reach will he chose tradition over love?

Thorar, a dwarven mercenary out for gold and glory, joins his mentor on a secret mission to kill the last of the ancient dragons. But the fact that he's the high ranking officer's protégé only makes those initiated into the elite dwarven army despise him more than the rest of the hired swords. Urim, a trusted advisor to the mission's Commander brought his friend for the journey as a final test before he can join the Brotherhood Without Glory. But unlike some of his Brothers he's worried more about the backstabbing politics within the Order than old dragon myths blown out of proportion. Their destination - a tiny island where three oceans meet. Their goal - simple. Destroy the dragon cult that dwells there and if need be their false god. But in a world were any skill can be elevated to the level of magic and Tempest threatens to turn the tide at a moment's notice nothing is ever really "simple." ~ ~ ~ *Work in Progress - Second Edition* As I've improved my craft since the original story was published I've decided to complete a rewrite before I finish Feral (part II). Distractions abounding I'll post the WIP of the second edition here, until the re-write is done.
