So I'm reading a book for English called To Kill a Mockingbird, and I wrote dis poem about discrimination in the book. PECE✌🏽

Haiku

The year is 1949, and Jean Louise "Scout" Finch Harris is now 21, living and working in New York as a an author and part-time poet alongside her husband and childhood-friend, Charles Baker "Dill" Harris, 23, recently-graduated law school student and highly-praised defense attorney. The two haven't been back to Maycomb since their wedding, just weeks after Scout's 18th birthday, and have decided to return for a visit, and when an old, long-forgotten friend turns up at their doorstep, they find themselves right back at where they started, 15 years into the future.

Scout Finch's return to Maycomb County years after moving out brings such surprise tinged with nostalgia to her then older self. What ever happened to Jem? The Robinsons? Dill? It is told in this short story.

At the edge of the shore, she learns that not all waves announce themselves. Some arrive quietly, soaking into the sand and leaving the beach unchanged-except for what settles underneath. As she grows, she begins to fear these small waves more than the violent ones, drawn instead to storms she can see coming, prepare for, and survive. Beneath the Quiet Waves follows a young narrator as she learns to recognize the difference between small damages that end up hurting more than honest, brutal fights.

ATTENTION ALL LORD OF THE RINGS, THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS, WARCRAFT, AND TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD FANS! Here comes a story based on all of them. Arinala is a nineteen year old girl in the land of Nuacuy, cursed by a fairy ever since she was six to have the power of a Stra, a demon. Despite this, one of the five great wizards Sholm recruited her into the Human army. But the evil wizard Jederen is building up a Fairy army, and now Arinala must travel on a mission with her best friend Lumone, three very queer wizards (especially Nico), a group of robbers, and other strange characters in order to stop Jederen. THIS BOOK HAS AT LEAST TWO GAY GUYS, AND THE CONCEPT OF BEING OUTCAST.

It's been five years since the events of To Kill a Mockingbird. Jem is 17, Dill is14, and Scout is 13. See how their lives have changed since the events of the book. Sucky summary, great story. Just read it. All rights go to Harper Lee. The only character I own is Jem's slutty girlfriend, Loretta. I originally wrote this as a Language Arts project and received 40/40 points. I showed to a lot of family members and friends. They all said it was good, so I decided to say "Hey, why not post it on Wattpad, I need to start writing on there anyway." And keep in mind, I'm in eight grade and To Kill a Mockingbird is a high-school level book and everyone in the grade has to read it. The fanfiction wasn't originally part of the options for the final project, but I asked the teacher and she said it was okay. I admit, it does have racism in it, but that's primarily because America still was back then. And I felt really awkward writing the racist parts because they said the n word a lot back then, and I found an alternative, but I still felt awkward writing it. Rating only what it is because of the racism, Dill gets just a little handsy with Scout, and because I wrote Loretta as a slut.

This is another English assessment. The assessment was to fill in a gap in the classic story "To Kill A Mocking Bird". The gap if anyone wants to know, surrounds Boo Radley and his brother. It is the part where Boo or Arthur is placing the gifts in the tree for Scout and Jim. If you haven't read 'To Kill A Mocking Bird' this will all go over your head. So...... Onto the story?

After all the events of childhood, Jem and Scout are grown up. Now in 1947 at 24, Jem is a successful lawyer, having moved from Maycomb to a small town many miles away. There, he meets Ruth, a young woman whom he finds mysterious. Many around town believe she's a spy, but no one can prove it. When sent to work on defending a man convicted of murder he decides to investigate the crime and finds himself working with Ruth to figure out the truth. They have two weeks to find enough evidence that the man is innocent but little do they know they'll end up going on the adventure of a lifetime and possibly even falling in love.

A To Kill a Mockingbird short story. Calpurnia brings Jem and Scout to her church where Scout makes friends with a black girl. They instantly connect and Scout realizes this girl is just like her. But when people in her community start to realize that Scout is friends with a black girl, trouble erupts.

Then, when she arrives to Maycomb, she has a whole new trial waiting for Atticus. (Set after the trial of Tom Robinson, Bob Ewell was sentenced to life in prison and Tom was fine with his family)
