After all, the only person who can truly know everything a woman goes through is another woman. This is a Holtzbert fanfic featuring the Ghostbusters 2016 cast. After the death of his father, Daniel Morrison’s life didn’t exactly become that of a typical teenager. He essentially home schooled himself and maintains a full time job at the local store. Additionally, he raised his younger sister since his mother made her social life a crutch to dealing with the loss of her husband. Daniel would love nothing more than to have a normal teen-age life - and to have his father back. However, Daniel's despondent life would now become quite peculiar the day he meets a link to his father: a man by the name of Sef. Sef unveils the truth behind this world and society as a whole. He warns Daniel that Earth is in a downward spiral with an unfavorable ending. Yet something can be done, but only if Daniel picks up where his father left off. Although what he’s told all sounds crazy Daniel realizes this strange encounter is the first time he’s felt a rush, felt alive, felt anything at all. It’s a feeling he doesn't want to let go of. Now he’s left with an important decision to make to a question proposed by his new acquaintance: are you in or are you out? This moment would be the catalyst to Daniel’s life-altering adventure. A journey that will show him a whole other world that society has been ignorant of for years, inherent powers that were always present but never realized, a secret endeavor kept hidden from him by his own father, and an opportunity to save Earth from its inherent downfall. Nevertheless, none of this will come to Daniel without heavy opposition from a small group looking to stop Sef and make Earth’s demise a reality.

Ficlets, one-shots and sometimes just fun random scenarios between the dorky physicist and the weird engineer, Erin Gilbert and Jillian Holtzmann. The chapters will have no connection to each other; some will be longer, some will be shorter, some will be AU and some will follow the original plot. I tried my best to keep them in character and to make the dynamic between them the most interesting and realistic as possible. It's been a while since the movie came out but I still hope this will catch on.
