However, a resistance lead by his old friends are working to overtake him and put a stop to his reign, and it looks like they may pose more of a threat to Red Leader than he expects. Takes place a few years after the events of "The End." TordEdd/TomMatt/Paultryck Warnings for (light) gore and violence, mentions of mental illnesses, and smut. If you don't like those I'll make it so you're welcome to skip those parts without missing out on too much of the story and plot.

it was supposed to be a one-shot, it was supposed to be a one-shot, it was sup- The end of the world as we know it won't keep Matt from appreciating the simple pleasures of life, but what when his cheerful (and lonely) self with simplistic ideals meets the more pessimistic and complex Tom? This is perhaps the nicest I've ever written Tom to be.
