Tommybashing Stories

Buck looking down at where Eddie had wrapped both of his hands around Buck's fingers. He sat there quietly a moment, studying Eddie's hands. They were calloused, bigger than Buck's. They'd held him after the bombing, after the well, after the tsunami, after the shooting. They'd brought him back to life after the lightning, restarted his heart. Their whole life together could be told with those hands. From the very first handshake when they swore to have each other's backs, to Eddie grabbing him and pointing at him in anger and yet Buck never felt an ounce of fear. He flipped his hand over slowly, ignoring the burn of the scrapes on his palm. He threaded his fingers with Eddies, heart stuttering at how smoothly they fit together. ~~~ Buck runs into Tommy at a bar 6 months after Bobby's funeral. Eddie overhears their conversation. It spirals into something out of control but shatters all walls to let something new grow.

Eddie realizes that Tommy is stealing Buck from him and decides to do something about it maybe. Or a tiktok edit inspired me to write a jealous Eddie trope.

"Mayday, mayday, helicopter 3 Alpha 4 0 Charlie is experiencing a malfuction. We're going down over highway 20," he said quickly, Eddie taking a deep breath before trying to help steady the copter and not crash too severely. "This is your fault, I hope you know. If you say a word to Evan, I'll tell him you're in love with him," Tommy hissed, pulling hard on the wheel. Eddie tossed him a harsh glare, making sure his belt was secured and preparing for the crash. "I don't give a fuck, you tell him whatever you want. I'm not letting you cheat on my best friend," he snapped, his hand tightening on the handle. Or, Tommy was taking Eddie on "dates" while dating Buck, and Eddie didn't know until they were 5000 meters in the air in a helicopter. He's not about to betray his best friend like that.

"Somethings wrong, Eddie. This isn't Buck," she whispered and Eddie closed his eyes, his hand tightening on his cup. "I know. But he won't talk to me, about anything. He hasn't even texted me a 2am random fact in weeks," he said and Hen made a small noise. "Hen, you knew Tommy before," he said slowly, Hen's shoulders tightening. "I did. And that's why Karen and I gave him the shovel talk at the award ceremony, I know what he's like," she said and Eddie finally looked up. ~~~~~~~ Buck hasn't been Buck in weeks. Hen and Eddie are worried, so they go to check on him.
