This is a first-person fanfiction about Tom Riddle's first four years about Hogwarts. I plan to also write another book about his fifth year at Hogwarts, a third book about his sixth and seventh years at Hogwarts, and a fourth focusing on his time after graduation. I want to be completely honest with my readers before they commit their precious time to reading my work, so here are some things to keep in mind before you read the introduction. 1. There will be no romance or intimate scenes in this book. I do my best to keep my books as canonically accurate as possible. Because Tom Riddle was completely unable to feel love, he will not have any love interests in this story. If you are looking for romance, I love you, but please find a different story--there are plenty. 2. This book is an introduction and a wind-up to his later years. I will do my best to make it interesting, but the opening of the Chamber of Secrets and the creation of his first Horcruxes will come in the second book. This also means this first book in the series will most likely be the shortest. 3. I made up a lot of characters in this story! A lot of them have to be, because canon isn't entirely clear on who was actually alive at the same time as Tom Riddle, and there isn't a character list set out for me. This means I have to make up my own, so if you don't recognize some names, that is why. 4. This is fast fiction! If you are looking for a fast-paced, easy read, this is your spot!
