'The serpent whispered to Eve, it tempted her and for she was only human and therefore she fell'
Anika looked to the stars and sighed, 'What is so beautiful about the sky, for it to enchant you everytime you see it?' He asked her curiously, leaning toward the metal bar of the Astronomy Tower. He wanted her to look at him with such care and importance.
She smiled, 'Because Tom, the sky is as old as nature. It is older than you, than I, than the old coot Dippet and older than the oldest tree that still stands. And even when we're all gone, it will still be standing. For it is infinite. It is promised and to know that, it is enchanting.' She answered, still not looking anywhere but the sky.
'Look at me' He stated and she did, again with a smile brighter than anything he had ever seen. It made his chest constrict and he wished, for the first time in his life, to make sure he never has the misfortune to lose such a sight.
'The moon and stars?'
'Lunam et stellas,' She answered and brought forward her wrist to his face, his sight blinded by the bracelet he always saw and heared dangling from her wrist which he so desperately wished to have caged underneath his palm.
'I can give you the world,' He told her making her smile bigger.
'It is not yours to give.' She answered, staying true to herself.
'I don't get what you wish from me,' He stated honestly.
'I wish for you, Tom.'
And hell broke lose. Lucifer gained back his wings and flew straight back into heaven.
