Winn Augustine isn't quite the legend her aunt Grace is, but she's determined to be someday. Idealizing her aunt's work since she was young is what makes Winn decide to join her on Pandora, despite never having actually met her. She's quickly accepted into her Avatar program, which is where she meets her two best friends, Norm Spellman and Tom Sully. Norm and Winn are at a loss when Tom is murdered just days before their departure, and is replaced by his twin brother, Jake, in the program instead. When Winn arrives on Pandora and begins working for her aunt, she begins getting to know Jake, the twin brother Tommy never shut up about. He's no Tommy, but Winn still finds herself drawn to him. When Winn and Jake are separated from their group one day out in the forest and brought to the Omaticaya clan, they never expect to be accepted into the village and allowed to learn to be one of them. And they certainly don't expect to grow close not only with each other but with Neytiri, their teacher who also happens to be the daughter of Olo'eyktan and betrothed to Tsu'tey.

What if Jake's brother Tom didn't die? Yes, in an accident to where Jake still had to take his brother's place. But he did because they told him he wasn't going to make it, but he did without knowledge. He works for RNA, Nether one knows the other is alive and expects from working/building stuff, and looking at the science behind it, he was put to study. Keemaya, the daughter of Tom sully was left alone when her father died, Jake (Toms Brother) decided he would care for her and treat her as his own. Keemaya was different though, she had a special bond with the land around her, it was almost like she could control it. One of her dreams before her father had past was to become one of the Na'vi. She always found Pandora fascinating when her father talked about it. She always told him of how she dreamed of living in Pandora one day, but little did she know that she would actually live in Pandora with Jake and she would also be big help to the Na'vi since she had a special bond. She would also fall in love with a particular worrier of the people, for his ability to protect and honer his land, and his love for the life of the land. But love was at risk when the war broke out against the sky people and the Na'vi. KeeMaya tried her hardest to protect the the land but she couldn't do it by herself.
