Hiccup Haddock was branded as an outlaw for befriending a dragon and banished from Berk and Scandinavia, now he's out wandering the world such as Asia with his Night Fury, Toothless and during that, his exploring takes him to the land of Japan. While there, he finds out there are 4 surviving Night Furies, tamed by 4 boys around his age, who welcome him to this land of mystery, and offer him a place to stay for a while. Together, with their Night Furies, the 5 boys fought in a variety of battles with a monster of legend the Yamato No Orochi, the Eight-Headed Serpent, and hordes of numerous warlords and bandits, with him and his friends using the powers of the elements: Fire, Water, Air, Earth, and Lightning. 2 years later, after Hiccup became a samurai commander of the Shogun's army under the name Lord Ryuzo, leader of a new samurai clan and new heir to the throne of Japan, his past has come back to haunt him as they invade all of Europe. When Hiccup's final test in the Kill Ring does not go as planned, he runs away, sure that nothing he can ever say will change Berk's mind. At least he's not alone though, and with his cousins and several dragons by his side, they leave the archipelago. Of course, not all is smooth sailing and Hiccup's emergence as the Dragon Master earns him more than one enemy. Eventually, it also draws the attention of Berk, who are suffering from increased raids and struggling to survive. Hiccup doubts his and the people of Berk's views on how they feel about dragons and Floki having his own secrets. The two will have to adapt to everything they learn and keep it a secret from others. Hiccup goes undercover with Heather to infiltrate the dragon hunters. Maybe he convinced Dagur that he's genuinely there so they can be brothers but how long can he really keep up that act, especially when he's trying to fool the dragon hunters at the same time? Or when Hiccup's starting to realize that playing as Dagur's brother isn't entirely an act anymore?
