Excerpt: Each time Tae-ui reached his hand out toward Ilay, as soon as Ilay moved to grab it, Tae-ui pulled back, laughing softly. "I expected better from you" Tae-ui teased, his grin growing wider. Ilay remained silent, his eyes narrowing slightly, but he played along, following Tae-ui's movements. "You can be faster" Tae-ui continued, his tone light. Ilay said nothing, his expression growing more serious with each attempt. Tae-ui chuckled. "Haha..." "I'm not having fun" Ilay muttered, his voice flat. "Why not?" Tae-ui asked, his amusement undeterred. "I... stop doing it" Ilay replied, his tone firm. "Why?" Tae-ui tilted his head, still grinning.

I too, was Inspired myself by her stunning photos, and wondered what those moments would look like between Penelope and Colin if her dress was yellow?! This fic contains swearing, gore/blood and slight sexual undertones This is a remake and much more fleshed out and extended version of "Amateur Night but it's a Wholesome Love Story", because while I still love this work, I felt like some of the writing wasn't really that great, plus some parts are either pretty corny and stupid, and I will admit, the buildup to Lily and Clint's romance was pretty rushed. It'll still have the same plotline going on, though I'll add some more slow burn, plus some new elements to the story, like adding minor additional characters or conflicts to make it more interesting. This story, like the previous, is a re-write of the segment "Amateur Night" from the first V/H/S film. Also, as I've stated in the previous, this is not meant to be a fixed version of the original, cause the original is still one of my favorite horror shorts. This is just a more wholesome and romantical twist on the short. And of course, I do NOT condone the actions of the characters in the original, and I do not justify or glorify their motives at all. This is just a work of fiction, and these characters will be much more tolerable, completely different than the original. One night, a trio of college buddies, Shane, Patrick and Clint, decide to go out for a stroll around the city, having a little guy's night. While on their way, Clint comes across a particular woman, one who seems a bit odd, but she's also heartbroken, as her last date stood her up. Feeling bad for her, Clint invites her to come along with his buddies. What soon follows is a roller-coaster of strange events, from a friendship turning to something more, finding out that there's actually more to Lily than meets the eye, strangely emotional moments, and somehow a disturbing unknown third party comes into the mix. Ilay's fingers dug into Taeui's arms, the pressure now verging on discomfort. Taeui inhaled sharply but didn't pull away. "Ilay," he continued softly, "there's a chance I may never present. I've already passed the usual age." He hesitated, the unspoken fear lodged in his chest Will you leave me? Though the words remained unsaid, Ilay's expression shifted. Taeui wasn't sure if he was betraying his fear through his expression, but Ilay had always been able to read him with unnerving accuracy. "Leave you?" Ilay's voice cracked, harsh, and incredulous. "You?" His grip faltered for a moment, his brows furrowed deeply.
