It's a small little bit I decided to write. I don't know if its meant to be more but I had come up with a title from the beginning to maybe I'll write more for it. I'd love feed back on it, maybe a few suggestions on what I could do for the future of the story if I'm not asking too much. This takes place sort of at the end of the episode "The Blind Bandit". You basically work for the estate whilst also maintaining a friendship with the family's daughter, Toph. The events of it start right in that time where Toph is preparing to leave the estate to travel with the Gaang. If I should continue it please let me know (if anyone reads this, that is) I'd appreciate it, especially since I'm on the fence about it myself.

A girl named Raelyn James was walking home from school on a 'fateful' day. A white van had been following her, but she hadn't noticed it. Suddenly, she feels something very painful on her back and stomach. When she looked at her stomach, she saw a bullet hole. She realized she had been shot. Many things ran through her head as she fell to the ground, but the one we shall focus on is this. 'Am I gonna die?'. When she hit the ground, she fainted. When she awoke again, she expected to wake up to a white hospital room. Yet, it was the complete opposite. She woke up to a short, blind girl standing over her.
