A secret nobody knows, except two, my guardian Captain Jack Harkness and my father also known as The Doctor. I know what you'll think, why is my name Harkness when I'm The Doctor's daughter? Well, that's because we figured it was the safest thing for me to be called, especially since I wanted to stay on Earth with Jack and work for him at Torchwood 3 in Cardiff. This story takes place in season two of Torchwood. I don't own any of the characters except Aerwyna Casandra Harkness.

Evelyn Harkness, the adopted daughter of Captain Jack Harkness, was told amazing stories of a man called the Doctor. She dreamed of travelling the universe but for the rest of her years she was stuck in Torchwood watching the days go by but still having that little bit of hope. One night a stranger breaks into her house and to her surprise her life has only just begun. From then on Evelyn's life was filled with travelling, dreaming and an awful lot of running. It's all fine until an unfamiliar face shows up to destroy the fun and tries to kill Evelyn for good by chasing her from one end of the universe to the other.
