Hundreds of years ago, there was a war that nearly laid ruin to the Earth. As a compromise to end this war, the Wall was built, completely splitting the Earth in half. This enormous Wall can only be opened by the Gatekeeper, with the key being passed down from one member of the Gatekeeper's family to another. One side of the wall inhabits the humans that have chosen to move forward and advance. The animals are very much the same as they were hundreds of years ago, but they do have one rare and dangerous species on this side-dragons. On this side lives notorious thief Danny Ravensdale and the son of the king's head guard, Lennox Castellan. When a twisted set of events takes place, Danny and Nova find themselves on the opposite side of the wall. They both must learn to blend in with the environment around them, their only help being the other girl's friends and family. And if either of them are caught on the opposite side of the Wall, they will surely not make it out alive.

As he pulled away, he saw a shocked Torin, and the blond swore under his breath. He was going to kill Ravyn.
