Editing and reposting my first "Axis Powers Hetalia" fanfiction, also my first NationxReader. It was published on Deviantart on 29 April 2012 as an entry for a contest, then on Fanfiction.net in 2014. I am still very proud of it after all these years and thought I could revamp it! I had a soft spot for Lithuania... At the time, he wasn't the most popular character to write about. I wonder if that is still the case, nowadays? I write Lithuania's human name "Tolys" because even though the transcription of his name from katakana is "Toris", it is inaccurate and sounds like a dog's name in Lithuanian. Though I can understand that is because Hiyamura does not speak the language. "Tolys" exists as a first name but is very rare and ancient. "Tolys" is the diminutive form of "Tolvaišas", which is a real Lithuanian name.
