She'd loved storms as long as she could remember; especially tornadoes. It was something she and her twin brother Jeb had in common, aside from their birthday. It was for this reason, that it was like a match made in heaven when she was placed in a room with Kate Carter her Freshman year of college. They both loved storm chasing, and together, they were going to find a way to slow down tornadoes, or maybe even stop them entirely. It was their thesis project...and they dragged all of their friends into it with them. But something went wrong. The project didn't work. The storm they were chasing only got stronger and...three of their friends died because of it...including Jeb. Kate disappeared entirely, refusing to finish her PHD and opting instead to move to New York and take a job behind a desk. Zoe went the opposite way; meeting up with a popular streamer and his team and becoming one of the most popular storm chasers on the internet. She didn't let what happened to her brother stop her from doing what she loved... But after losing the two most importent people in her life to a storm, Zoe has no intention of letting anyone get too close; Especially not Tyler Owens, her storm chasing parter who's been in love with her practically since the day they met. Things take a turn however, when Kate and Javi, the only other survivors of the tornado, return to the storm chasing scene, forcing Zoe to confront her past, as well as her biggest fears. Love is a storm. It can make you feel alive...but it can also tear you down. You have to decide...is it the kind of storm you run from? Or the kind you chase?
