Yuzu brings home a young man in a straw hat as well as an additional cook. Things of course don't go as planned.

In a world of ordinary people, Karin was like any other. Well...if you discount her exceptional spiritual prowess, then she was relatively normal. Although, unlike her brother, she had little interest in intermingling with the supernatural world. However, a freak accident would turn her life upside down as she woke up in none other than... the afterlife? Thrown into the Soul Society with her memories intact, Karin is determined to return to the world of the living, meeting familiar faces along the way. But, lurking in the shadows, mysterious forces threatened to make that journey more difficult than it already was. Can Karin really do the impossible and make it back alive?

Just when Karin thought everything was finally normal in her life, she had to find out about her sister's death. Therefore she went out to find her in the Rukongai, hoping that Yuzu did not end up in a bad place like she did. Story mainly focused on Karin, Yuzu and the Kurosaki family. Time: set right after the last chapter of Lifeless. Toshiro is back in town and Karin is ecstatic. He's staying at her house while he's there, but a new adventure begins when Hollows filled the night and Toshiro gets hurt. Karin is now a 3rd year in junior high. Will Karin be able to tell Toshiro how she feels? Will Toshiro be able to tell Karin how he feels? Each chapter is supposed to be one day for the characters, but I'm not sure I did all of them like that.
