Monsters are real, they walk amongst us. Some look like regular people, some monsters are regular people. It is our job to eliminate those monsters. To protect the humans, while we operate in the shadows. Paid by private companies, all wire transfered to multiple accounts. We never stay in one place for long.

This is a poem (ballad) depicting a bards' journey and his pursuits.

Jaskier x (Female!)Reader. When Geralt reunites with you, the child he once knew now grown and more headstrong than ever, how will you mend old wounds? And when you meet his charming bard friend, will it be a true love story? Or will it create new wounds between you and Geralt? Just a nice little fanfic for all my guys and gals out there who are lonely and in love with one (1) bard. Some Geralt x platonic reader, but I'll probably write a separate prequel for that. This is the movie I play in my mind at night to help me fall asleep, but now I've written it down! Also, I've read the books and I've seen the series, I know the canon. But it's all fiction so I can do whatever the hell I want. (I wrote this as a female reader fanfic, but if anyone asks for it, I will publish a version for men!)
