After 18, you will get to see your life is just repeating cycles of the same storyline, atleast in my case. And in this strange traumatic and numb life I do painting only in three emotional states. To begin with the first state is happiness, which is usually when I get to befriend someone. Then it's guilt, I create paintings for the people I hurt with a lot of guilt and as a form of repentance I make them an artwork.
