African poetry encompasses the wide variety of traditions arising from Africa's 55 countries and from evolving trends within different literary genres. It is a large and complex subject, partly because of Africa's original linguistic diversity but primarily because of the devastating effect of slavery and colonization, which resulted in English, Portuguese and French, as well as Creole or pidgin versions of these European languages, being spoken and written by Africans across the continent. 'Expression of Agony' is a collection of poems that tells about African culture, history, tradition and lifestyle. There's going to be more to learn from this poem book so, stay tuned and have a wonderful read.

Angelina was perfectly happy with her life. Everything was great: she had a job she loved, a best friend to rely on, and a supportive family. Although, one thing her family weren't so supportive about was the fact that she was single. She just HAD to have a boyfriend, or so her parents said. Soon enough, her parents get tired of her uncooperativeness and find her 12 suitors, all of which are 'the best'. These dozen men may be 'the best', but how far will they go for Angelina's affection? Mainly when it may not even be given to any of them? After all, there are thirteen in a baker's dozen.
