Tough Stories

Nicole Delacroix never really fit in anywhere, having grown up in a run down apartment in South Carolina with her neglectful parents, she practically raised herself from age four. Her dad was a drinker and her mom was a smoker, but that didn't mean she didn't like a glass of wine after a long day of doing nothing. But just three weeks after Nicole's fourteenth birthday her whole world gets flipped upside down her parents both unexpectedly die less then a week apart from eachother, and suddenly she's being shipped to New York to go live with her rich uncle, but only about an hour into the flight the plane suddenly crashes and Nicole finds herself stranded in the beautiful, yet brutal North Carolina mountains. Will she find help in time or will the animals and predators of the forest find her first? Day 733 Dear Diary, Today makes it two years and three days since I've been forced to marry that sick bastard. On our second anniversary he tried to have his fun but as always I turned him down. He continues to beat me every day and I don't know how much more I can take. You ask why don't I just run away but he has this place surrounded by guards to where I can't even go out the bedroom without somebody questioning me. To end my poor life I tried taking the pills but that didn't work, I tried putting a bullet through my temple but didn't have the courage to do it, so I have retorted to cutting. Please don't be mad but it's the only way I can go another day and it somewhat relieves the pain... I guess. -From a broken girl, Nadia
