"No, Seriously!" is an [unofficial] fiction initiative that seeks to provide a forum for those struggling with eating disorders, suicidal thoughts, bullying, depression, or self-harm, and to allow the work of authors who are passionate and focused on these topics to shine within the Wattpad community. Inspired by the realization that far too often in fiction, and in the real world, such life-changing struggling are not taken seriously, this initiative hopes to give voice to the very real issues teens face today. What this will include: Opportunities for Young Adult/New Adult authors to showcase their novels, short stories, poetry, and essays, and to give deeper explanations as to the inspiration behind them. Contests and giveaways for aspiring writers seeking an outlet for the negativity they are going through. Blog installments, posted chapter by chapter, featuring posts that deal with topics concerning self-love, positive outlook, self-confidence, battling depression, overcoming bullies, and more. The type of fiction "No, Seriously!" features will be... Accessible. Respectful. International. Meaningful. Join the #NoSeriously initiative today - and start by taking these struggles, and the people who face them, seriously. [Cover thanks to the talented @5ifthproject.]

He was the calming rain to my fiery temper. He was the soothing waters to my battered heart. He was the raging downpour to my dirty ugly world. Washing away all the brokenness and despair. When I blurted this out to him one night in one of my worked up frenzied outbursts, all I'd wanted to do was run and hide under a rock till idk....forever. But after a second of just staring at me shocked he'd grabbed me around the waist and murmured against my neck that I lit his soul on on fire. Inspired him to see the world in deeper and brighter color. He said his life often looked dull and gray. But I somehow seemed to instinctively know when the darkness creeped up on him and would crash in weather he wanted me to or not and make his life vibrant and colorful , pulsing with life. I was his light when everything els seemed dark and unwelcoming. "Well I'll stop boring you with mushy stuff and just tell you our story of fire and rain" - Phoenix

Losing weight was supposed to magically turn Maya Tanner's life around. It was supposed to bring her the happiness and peace of mind she had lost many years ago, but tarting senior year skinnier than she has ever been only seemed to isolate her more. Between fighting old demons and rekindling past love, her life didn't become any less complicated. 《Inspired by Blythe Baird's poem 'When The Fat Girl Gets Skinny'》 Warnings: Bullying, Sexual Assault, Fat Shaming
