Touka was a rebellious, dangerous, and stubborn girl. She would always get into trouble, and get into fights. Her mom left her at a very young age. She lives with her father and her step mother. Her mom lives with her big brother. She always thought, why did she have to leave me behind? After that day, she became cold hearted and cruel to the world. Then she met Kaneki. The mayor's son. But almost everyone doesn't know that he was the mayor's son. His mom and his dad broke up so he had to go with his mom but still visited his dad once in a awhile to help with his duties. That must be hard for him, seeing his dad with his new family and barely even treating kaneki like a son. But more of a butler. Everything changed. Touka, the once troublemaker, changed into a beautiful disaster. Get what I mean? When she let all of her anger out, shes now the girl who knew how to love and forgive.

Haise Sasaki has been living a normal life as a ghoul investigator at the CCG, living with his squad known as the Quinckes; Saiko, Mutsuki, Shirazu and Urie. What he doesn't know is that he used to be a ghoul himself with a group that resided in the coffee shop called Anteiku. In this group, he was close friends with a ghoul who goes by the nickname "Rabbit" to the CCG. Maybe an encounter with her at her new coffee shop ":re" will jog his memory back and this friendship will become something more.

If you haven't read the manga or watched the anime there will be spoilers within this series of short stories. So I highly recommend that you do one if those before proceeding, unless you're comfortable with it.
