Asher Westman is a fun-loving, playful, charismatic, athletic, and super cute 17 year old boy and basketball player from Philadelphia. But Asher is not your average high school jock, or at least not for long. The upcoming Westman divorce forces Asher's mom and sister, Zoey, to pick up and move with him out of the vibrant city and into a small town in Ohio where everything is different, basketball is much more competitive, and people's differences are not always understood. Including Tourette Syndrome, a neurological condition Asher was diagnosed with in sixth grade. Asher always has viewed his condition as "not such a big deal" in his life. Back in Philadelphia everybody loves Asher, he's just one of the guys; he loves to have a good time, adores basketball more than anything, and is an all around good kid. Yet, with all these scary and new changes, everything that used to be "no big deal" suddenly becomes a huge deal. Cue in a new lifestyle, the Buddy Club, and Aly Roth... 🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀 Shorter description: On the surface, Asher Westman is your stereotypical high school jock. Having your body shake, contort and jump uncontrollably is so difficult to deal with. The sounds that are uttered as you tic can shock people. Living with Tourette Syndrome is very difficult to say the least, but, like any neurological disorder... you endure. A little humor, a lovable knight named Lord Feebleritz and his faithful panther steed Bork-Bork make telling children about Tourette Syndrome a little easier. I hope you enjoy it.

Louis William Tomlinson. An 18 year old boy living with Tourette syndrome- a neurological disorder characterized by involuntary tics and vocalizations and often the compulsive utterance of obscenities. "I didn't want to tell you that I was hurting, Mom. I didn't want you to worry about me.." Harry Edward Styles. A 20 year old man who's offered to look after Louis while his parents went on a 4 week work trip. "Don't worry Mrs. And Mr. Tomlinson. I've got him." Disclaimers: I am not making fun of Tourette Syndrome nor do I have this. I'm only making a story about it and using my small amount of knowledge into this book to show the day by day of this serious condition.

"This is Lyla Green. She is 16 years old, tall, and has long brown hair. She is pretty shy but very caring and creative." This is how a person would describe me normally. The usual. General facts, appearance, and personality traits. "This is Lyla Green. She is...weird. She does strange stuff with her voice and body, it's like she's crazy." This is how a person would have described me when I was 14 years old. When I discovered I had Tourette and had tics. This is what they saw at first glance, and they never bothered to look closer. If they had looked closer, if they knew me, they would have noticed that I am the same person described above. Just with tics. Do I change that much? No. I am just a bit different. A movement there, a sound there. Something out of the ordinary. Something you don't see everyday. Something new. That's what scares people. Based on real events. *COMPLETED*
