So, you guys are here because you need: L x Readers Light x Readers and Misa x Readers? Well, this is the book for you. Now, this is not a one-shots book. This is just something I made. Our reader, you, is Matsuda's sister.

Misa comes by to talk to Matsuda about her film shoot that's happening later. Instead, she becomes the next person to discover the secret that he and Aizawa had been keeping to themselves. Aizawa x Matsuda

After the Kira case Matsuda has been left jaded. He's not as laid back or trusting as he once was, despite wanting to be able to believe in the good of people. He learned the hard way, after all, that people aren't always what you think, and bitter betrayal can come from anywhere. Some might say this more serious nature makes him a better NPA officer. His friends find they miss the old Idiot Matsuda though. Enter [L/N] [Y/N]; a rookie joining the force after being inspired by the heroic capture of Kira! Matsuda was having a pretty great day. His complicated coffee order from the cafe down the street was made just right, someone on the street complimented his shoes, he even asked a girl out he met at the cafe and she said yes! All in all, nothing could spoil his day; not even Kira. That is, until he gets to the task force's head quarters.

I close my laptop shut as I just stare at him. "L..." He focuses on the papers in his hand instead of looking at me. "Either go to bed or wear your glasses. Eyo it's me, back at it again with the dumb rare-pair fanfic! Ok sorry about the dumb damn Daniel reference, I've been rewatching a lot of SaltyDKDan videos. Anyways this is a fanfic that follows L and Matsuda in an au where Light is taken down before the time-skip, and now the Kira Catching Squad has disbanded, for the most part, as L and Matsuda still work together, doing cases with each other, and living together. This is going to be slightly serious, I'm going to try to make it slightly serious at least, but there will be fluff. Also there will be spoilers for the anime up until the time-skip. Also, also I probably won't mention the Watari orphanage much, since I don't feel like writing those boys, and sorry if there's any inconsistencies with the manga I haven't read it.
