People live in constant fear of the many terrible towers across the land, built by her Majesty's decree to imprison any who dare question her. Bird's nothing but a girl from the north, but when someone she cares about is taken by the mad Queen's soldiers, she'll stop at nothing to save them. With nothing but her friends, a sled, and a mind full of songs, she sets out to get rid of the towers, once and for all. DISCLAIMER: this is a retelling of the *ORIGINAL FAIRY TALE* by the Brothers Grimm and has no connection to Disney's version whatsoever. DISCLAIMER PART II: I wrote this book when I was 15 and am still in the middle of huge revisions that I haven't posted here yet! Nia was just a worker at one of the buildings of the World Trade Center. She had just started her own company and was doing fairly well so far. On Monday September 11,2001 she meets a charming and beautiful man named Ethan. When the airplane hits the building while on a business meeting, Nia runs out of the office and runs into Ethan again when she looks for somewhere to hide. When they hear another boom they run into a supply room and hide. What will happen to Ethan and Nia? Will they be saved or will they die in the towers like most of their fellow workers?

June and Alicia recieve bad news , causing young June to break down. Can Alicia stay strong and be brave for her? A Malory Towers fanfic. I love both June and Alicia and wanted to highlight how close they are, though they're only cousins. This shows the other vulenarable side of their personalities which we seldom get to see.
