This is a story about a group of kids who only wanted a story of there own, but could not except the role the played in other and there own lives. *The title is a working progress, so is the story itself. I'm open to any one editing it for me. I know my grammar is terrible. Also there is intense crap in here so beware. Also looking for a really dope cover artist.*

This was an assignment from my writing creative class. The prompt was to create a short story based off the idea of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. This short story is my spin off of the theme of daydreaming, and living life to it's fullest.

It's the 70s and 4 high school teens from small town Boulder City, NV seek adventure to get away from their boring routine. As a new member is joined to the group, the gang experiences love, loss, adventure, and of course drama. What else is there to do in a small town ?

Leon, a 15 year old boy who is always with his 4 older bros, meets a young girl his age. He wants to be with her, but his boys always seems to get in the way. She believes that she's not as important as his boys and feels like she's in 2nd place...er 5th place. Will their relationship end because of this or will they be able to communicate without the 4 other shadows trailing behind?
