Pierpaolo, called Pipi, he is a doctoral student in ornithology. An affair with the author that lasts a year and a half, interrupted in the middle by his 3-month expedition to Africa while she runs an art gallery on an island in the Mediterranean. Their love would end in tears, as he had taken too many drugs at a party and needed her to take care of him, while she loved him and was looking for a long-term relationship to build for the future. Ten years of bad luck in love and I decided to write a letter to each of my exes to move on. Some of the love stories were short and futile. Others were important and long. But all the stories I tell here are based on real events, I have changed all information that could lead to the real person.
