Young Heloise Winchester, takes over toy making for her father to provide while teaching her little brother all by herself, earning money by continuing to illegally sell dolls in a toy shop by pretending her father is still living. Lionel Lindenhurst, the future Duke, is presented with two toys from a certain toymaker to gift as party favors for an event he has coming up. He agrees on this craftsman, and when he goes to buy more at the shop, he notices it's not a man, but a young girl carrying a box of dolls with a little boy in tow.
