'I love you' 'I love you too' I say, furrowing my eyebrows, wondering where this conversation was going. He sighed before the next words came out of his mouth. And I would have expected anything but this to come from his mouth. 'No, Belle, I... I love you' The whole room stopped. There was no way we were having this conversation. Not right now. 'No, stop Harry. We're best friends. You don't love me like that. You love me like I love Mitch or....Sarah. You love me like your best friend. You don't love me like you're supposed to love Kat' I shake my head, completely in denial that he was saying this sober. 'Of course, I love you, what are you on about? Have you been blind to this tension and feelings between us because you and I are the only ones who haven't spoken about it,' he furrows his eyebrows, taking another step forward towards me. 'That's not how this is supposed to turn out' I make eye contact with his green eyes, a darker shade now, knowing that I've hurt him. 'What's supposed to turn out?' 'I'm supposed to admit that I love you and then you're supposed to walk away from this friendship because you don't feel the same way. That's how it's supposed to go.' I take a deep breath in as he stood in front of me. 'You say a lot of shit Belle but that by far is the biggest load of bullshit I've ever heard,' he says before slipping his hands to either side of my neck, pulling my lips to meet his for the first time since we were 18.
