The Grid, a digital frontier, i tried to picture clusters of information as they moved through the computer. What did they look like? Chips = Motorcycles, with the circuits like freeways, i kept dreaming of a world i thought i would never see. And then, one day...i got in.... Tron was a film released in 1982 about a man who gets sucked into a computer and teams up with programs to fight an evil program called the Master Control Program (MCP). In 2010, a sequel was made set 27 years in the future about this man getting trapped in a new computer system he built himself because one of his programs was corrupted and went rogue. The sequel, known as Tron Legacy, follows the man's son as he gets sucked into this new system and attempts to help his father escape. Sadly the movie never got another installment. What I have done hear is write what I believe that third installment should be. This is a detailed film treatment of what I believe would be a great sequel to Tron Legacy. Set 18 years in the future, the son of the creator has taken over his father's technology empire after his death during the events of Tron Legacy. This man has since then married and had a daughter, Winona Flynn. That daughter has never heard of the Grid or the adventures her father, mother, and grandfather had within the digital world. This story is about how Winona accidentally gets sucked into the digital world originally created by her deceased grandfather and finds it in disarray. With the help of some programs, an old hero, a penchant for coding, and inspiration from two past generations of the Flynn dynasty, Winona becomes the newest user and hero of the Grid as she attempts to save the programs and restore order to her grandfather's system. *Please note that this treatment is meant to be a sequel and as such assumes at least a basic level of knowledge of Tron Legacy (2010).
