Short story about the experience of a Nigerian girl called Ella...

"Where is everyone?" "Disappeared, dead, maybe a little both." Dead, if so where did the bodies go? Alive, where did everyone hide? Beneath the earth? Above the sky? Elise doesn't know. This short story was written for extra credit during the end of my Winter 2020 quarter at Cal State San Bernardino. Here, I give the Corona Virus a voice and personality as the Angel of Death. It is based on current events, so I wondered if I was being sensitive enough as I wrote it. Being written in March and posted in November, the story hasn't aged too well with some inaccuracies but bear with me, I tried to see the future with a happier ending. If you are reading this, I hope you are safe!

Matututo ka talagang magsabi na estudyante ka kahit hindi naman para lang mabawasan ng piso ang pamasahe mo. Hindi ito rant sa pamasahe ng jeep, hindi rin ito love story o ano pa man. Basahin mo na lang para mabwiset ka din sa traffic.
