Observer's Paradox - a situation in which the phenomenon being observed is unwittingly influenced by the presence of the observer.
All Quinn wanted was a quiet reset: new flat, new job, something simple.
What he got was a contract with a private security firm that isn't quite what it seems, under a boss who knows far too much about him-and his new neighbours.
Now he's embedded in a mission he doesn't understand, pretending to protect people he's also been told to spy on. The rules keep changing. The danger feels scripted. And reality? Starting to slip.
Observer's Paradox is a speculative military thriller about surveillance, identity, and the invisible patterns that shape our choices - whether we see them or not.
(This version, V2, is subject to random updates and changes. The story is mostly complete, and is the first in an expanded universe. Currently overhauling chapters 2.1 to 2.5, most of 3.3 and 3.5, and bits throughout Arc 1 and 3. Once done, Arc 4 will begin a staggered release.)
(On hiatus while I study what's going on in the political world at the moment because it's honestly great inspiration for the next books in the series. Which is concerning, tbh.)
