Arzhel Movins, a mafia boss, with a tragic past and a dead wife, takes care of their only child alone. Aelia, is his only reason for living, the reason he still breathes with a beating heart. When he hears of Aelia's tantrums for the cashier, he panics at his child's weakness, and calls for Rosalind. With his cold, and calculating attitude, he contemplates that Rosalind has malicious intentions towards his daughter.
After discussing the details of the situation with her, Rosalind realizes that Aelia does not have a mother, and is in need of a mother-like figure. Along with her dying mother and being broke, she agrees for a year of being Aelia's nanny. Will Arzhel be able to trust Rosalind? And can Rosalind help Arzhel get over the loss of his wife without hurting him? What the both of them do not know is that they are bound to fall for each other, by mistake or not.

"Arzhel... Stop. It." Rosalind's voice trembles.
"And, why should I?" He cocks a brow.
"Because I say so, and Aelia might see."
"I might love her, but she has to learn that I can love other women other than her dead mother." His eyes linger on her lips.
"Oh stop it, she's too young-" Her whisper-shouts are interrupted by his soft kisses followed by a hug to her waist. "Promise me you won't ever let go of me?"
"Yes, Rosette, I will not." There's a promise in his voice, something that keeps him tied to her like a string that can never tear or disappear.
