I wrote this originally for novel study in my English class. But I decided to extend the story in to pretty much The Death Cure in Newt's perspective; what his mind and him went through during the entire journey almost up until page.250. Since I think there were not enough scenes of Newt and his thoughts (there could never be enough tbh), here it is. A story written in the style of a journal, if Newt did carry one from the beginning of the third novel.
